Institute for Finance, Banking and Insurance
Parttime, 24 hours/week
Starting September 01, 2026, and ending after 2 years

What to expect

  • Research in empirical finance
  • Teaching: Finance on Bachelor and/or Master levels
  • Participating in organizational and administrative duties
  • Active participation in the research seminar series of the institute

What you have to offer

  • PhD in Finance
  • Experience in research and teaching in finance
  • Documented experience in academic research on mutual fund management
  • At least two papers on the program of a leading international finance conference
  • Good knowledge of statistical concepts
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Experience with financial data vendors, preferably with Bloomberg and Morningstar Direct
  • Programming skills in R
  • Willingness to use multimedia teaching methods

The minimum monthly gross salary amounts to €3,008.58 (14 times per year). This salary may be adjusted based on equivalent prior work experience. In addition, we offer a wide range of attractive social benefits.
