Job Description


Your Responsibilities:

  • Operational presence and support for the restaurant team
  • Advising and serving guests
  • Ensuring excellent guest experiences with consistent quality
  • Compliance with and monitoring of hygiene and quality regulations
  • Assistance with various tasks, such as designing the wine list or conducting inventory
  • Conducting training sessions for our staff

Your Profile:

  • Previous professional experience as a sommelier is a plus
  • Excellent subject matter expertise and interest in continuing education
  • A hospitable mindset with a polished and professional demeanor
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • A hands-on approach and goal-oriented work style
  • High attention to quality, affinity for luxury

The minimum gross wage under the collective agreement for workers in the hotel and hospitality industry is €2,263 based on full-time employment. In reality, a higher, market-rate salary is paid for this position, based on your qualifications and professional experience.

Rosewood Vienna opened in July 2022 as the brand’s fifth property in Europe.
