SAS Manager Austria & HUB (Hungary, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Slovakia)
We are looking to recruit a knowledgeable SAS Manager to join our Finance team in Austria covering several of our European hubs. If you know your IFRS and GAAP then read on for this could be the role for you!
The Finance team are experts in their fields and looking to recruit a SAS manager to be based in our Vienna offices. You will be working with subject matter experts and helping support one of the key corporate functions to the business. The team comprises a number of experienced people who know Nokia extremely well. They will be on hand to support you as the potential SAS manager in an excellent way.
Key activities and responsibilities
:
Ensure local statutory reporting according to the Austrian GAAP
Ensure of local tax reporting, compliance, planning and optimization according to corporate policies and legal requirements
Liaise with tax consultants (PWC)
Manage all payroll related activities defined in the service agreements
Setting up of new procedures and continuous process improvement as to increase process consistency, efficiency and effectiveness on a local, and in the future regional, basis
Business partnering for the client (Nokia Siemens Networks)
People management. Leading teams in Hungary, Switzerland Czech Republic and Austria
Qualifications
Preferred background and competences:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in general finance position with strong accounting background (deep understanding Austrian GAAP), ideally experience of working with Shared Services Centers and strong knowledge in Austrian tax regulations
Experience in audit of financial statements under IFRS and local GAAP (Austria), processes and controls as well as experience in compliance (SOX) and transition projects
Operational management and leadership skills, able to build and manage professional teams
Able to create an environment for the enhancement of process knowledge, and adapt to changing objectives and priorities
Experience of working in an international environment
Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
Excellent knowledge of SAP
Able to develop & maintain working relationships with a number of stakeholders and senior professionals
Fluent English
