Hard Rock Cafe managers are responsible for all aspects of the business. Our multi-faceted leaders must possess an entrepreneurial spirit, a high level of intellectual reasoning, a passion to deliver an exceptional atmosphere, and the ability to drive the business forward. Our managers must possess a minimum of three years of management experience in a high volume restaurant/entertainment venue and the appropriate legal working documents.

Travel and Tourism knowledge, local knowledge of Vienna and an English speaker are a plus.

position summary
This individual will direct C af e sales and marketing efforts ensuring that the business is financially successful and that it represents our brand identity in its entirety, therefore positively impacting our global operation.
essen tial functions

1 People - To provide a positive “employee life cycle” for all staff members during their tenure with Hard Rock
2 Guest Experience - To provide a n authentic experience that “rocks” for Hard Rock guests by planning and executing irreverent events that represent Hard Rock’s ability to meet a wide range of guest needs and expectations
3 Profit - To source, book, and execute events that are profitable to Hard Rock and experiential to the guest ensuring their repeat business
4 Sales - To grow the business by using innovative sales and marketing concepts

nonessential functions
1 Minimum 4 years of promotional marketing, advertising, public relations and/or hospitality sales
2 Coordinate operations between departments.
3 Present a professional image to employees, guests, clients, owners and investors.
4 Attend client functions and designated parties to provide support, ensure guest satisfaction and promote future business.
5 Build business/market share by thinking of new ways to promote the company and by participating in local events to increase sales and profits.
6 Develop and maintain positive relationships with in the business and social community.
7 Spearhead philanthropic initiatives.
8 Operate ethically to protect the image of Hard Rock.
9 Computer literate essential. Proven above average ability with Microsoft Software platforms (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint ) skill set
10 Previous customer relationship management (CRM) software/database day-to-day utilization. (Delphi a plus)
11 Proven public presentation skills. Used to speaking in front of an audience
12 CMP industry designation a plus

4 The interpersonal savvy to create successful business partnerships where the art of negotiating is required .
5 The ability to be innovative and creative while at times dealing with ambiguity .
6 Strong presentation and written communication skills .
7 Adherence to health/safety, food safety and alcohol consumption regulations .
8 Applicable sales tracking software experience is required.
9 Applicable standard of education is required .

3 Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
4 Multiple language abilities a plus, fluency in English required.
