This is company was a great experience and allowed me to move up the ladder in my career. It also has room to grow in management. This job could have way too much overtime and should hire more production associates.
Competitive pay and job stability
Too much overtime
Work-life balanceLots is of overtime bosses like to use OT as a punishmentPay & benefitsThe pay is about the only thing good about the jobJob security and advancementJobs pretty secure promotions based on time in company not work ethic or experienceManagementThe plant I work at upper management have no common senseOverallThe pay is great gaureented pay raises but union doesn't fight voted a horrible contract in 2018 management likes to use OT as a punishment the HR department has a higher turn over rate than the plant does
● Work-life balanceOvertime offered, suggested or demanded.● Pay & benefitsIf you had no overtime your base pay would not be that great.● Job security and advancementIf management likes you or you play the games you get training.● ManagementPoor at job site. Don't look to be trained or get answers because it's always someone else's job.● OverallI wouldn't work there again. Management is unfair, there is no training. People that work there are not generally nice. There are one or two Helping Hands, a lot of backstabbing and drama. Including the management team. I thought it would be the ideal place to work. The building is dirty and you can see it is not kept clean from the time you walk in the door it has nothing to do with the products being made there.
The people at Eaton will backstab you for over time. Also the H R Department has nothing good to say about the Union workers. H R get off on trying to fire union worker for no reason. The company EATON does not give a care about their employees and a good example of this is their AWFUL INSURANCE PLANS WITH OUTRAGEOUS DEDUCTIBLES. My best day at Eaton Areospace WAS THE DAY I RETIRED
I worked my behind off and was doing extremely well except there were people that didn't like my success or felt threatened so they lied to get rid of me in my 90 day probation. it is an extremely segregated workplace. reminded me off high school everyone sitting at the same lunch tables and heaven forbid you take someone's assigned seat. I'm on to bigger and better things Eaton is a joke.
It was such a bad place to work all around. The management wouldn’t tell you anything, no security at all, they don’t have fair pay scales for the amount of work certain jobs do compared to others. Lots of mandated overtime when they actually had parts. They couldn’t get us parts and blamed us for not working hard enough to catch up with demand. Terribly ran company all around. If you really need cash you might do it but look for something better the whole time until you find it, trust me you’ll need it.
Productive and fun workplace getting the job done in a safe and timely manner . Maintaining a clean and pristine and safe work environment. Accountable for meeting product deadlines. Cross functional independent worker and team player as other duties were assigned
My experience with this job was not good due to lack of training and it was a very hot environment with a lack of air for the employees. I also felt like the contract workers were not treated fairly compared to the permanent workers.
The starting pay was decent.
Uncomfortable work environment
Reagan era assembly line design and technology. The plant is space starved and needs an upgrade from the bottom up. Management is in over their heads and cannot get a handle on parts issues. Backlog of orders will eventually be the undoing of this plant. Safety and Occupational health are not a concern. Expect trigger finger in as little as 90 days. If you need a job, take this one while you find another.
Repetitive motion injury, management and business model
I would not waste your time in applying for this company because it is such an unstable environment. Too many legacy people working there and don't want to train or help you learn the job. Management on 2nd shift is ok but 3rd shift management at this location is very poor.
paid weekly if you are a contractor
too many to list
Assemble breaker boxes to blueprint specifications Oversaw several production lines as Lead Assembly Operate a stand up Fork lift when other operators would call off I learned how to read blueprints and assemble items to Specification Fast paced friendly environment
This place is just a huge lie and a mediocre company. Don’t work for this place, they say they value “safety” about their workers when they actually don’t give a damnnn
No union, terrible management, they have no ethics or care about their workplace.
