If you are looking for decent pay & excellent benefits this is the company for you. Hard work can possibly get you into a higher roll however don't expect your hard work to be noticed quickly.
Snacks 4/3 work schedule
Tesla will expect you to sacrifice your well being for the "greater good", upper management's profits and credibility. A "Bully" culture existed in Costa Mesa service center. This prevented anyone who came from the factory to enjoy their work nor advance past their positions.
Been working here for 4 months and all they care about is numbers and how much work we can do within the eight hours. Usually, you're on your own. Factory style kind of vibe, they tell you when to take lunch and breaks. No freedom, low key feel like you're being mico managed and watched at all times. You can hit the quota and have the best stats but they want you working the entire time even if their tracking system is kind of wonky and inaccurate.
Low pay, no match for 401k, usually on your own, mind numbing work
I honestly have no real complaints about this company. Management was good, the people were friendly and the overall work environment was pretty positive.
Pay was amazing
Company eliminates departments in the blink of an eye
it’s not an exciting or fun job. You come in, do your work and leave. You might work alongside great coworkers, or bad ones. If you like hard work, it’s an easy job, you can’t be lazy.
Chill, but depends who you’re working with
short breaks, long hours
Poor management they promote by who they like or don’t like. Being a reliable hard worker is not enough to advance. Was awarded a bonus and a raise in December 2019. Still waiting for my bonus and just got my raise at least that’s what they tell me but has yet to be reflected on my paycheck. So almost a whole year without my raise or bonus. So now i cant get a raise or a bonus for this year 2020 ,what a bunch of BS. There is a lot of laziness among some workers . Some associates take more breaks then suppose to and longer then what they are suppose to be. Management does nothing except make the reliable hard workers work harder and faster to compensate for the lazy workers that have a job but do not do it. FED UP WITH MISMANAGEMENT OF TESLA. It could be a much more profitable company. They would rather have 100 poor workers to do a 10 man job rather than 10 solid reliable hard working associates with a couple of back up workers to do the job. They play the numbers and still lose.
It's just like every article in the news. They get tons of applicants and they handpick their teammates. Not like any other dealership experience. Lots to learn and lots of support. It's really up to you on how the experience will be. Need to be open to changes and adapt quickly.
Clean environment, benefits, stock, culture, team environment, tools provided, lots of space, the mission is clear
Parking on site. Very minimal stuff. Nothing really to complain about.
Look elsewhere. It is cult like and the management is subpar at its very best. There management team is driven to whittle each and every underlying down to a nub only to ask more of you on tour days off. Very very disappointed in the culture developed by this seeming revolutionary company.
Company will make you stand on concrete for over 8 hours. Be prepared to wear comfortable shoes! - Co-workers and cars themselves we a lot of fun. Needed more honesty with management
learning about the cars
standing for long hours with little pay
